I absolutely adored reading about the stumbles and hurdles that fate was dealing Emma and Nick as they explored the possibility of a relationship. They’ve both protected their hearts for a long time, and to watch the two of them wobble through the act of making themselves vulnerable to each other was such a beautiful journey to be a part of.

I didn't think it could get better than Nick and Emma from the first book of the series, Simply Irresistible, but boyyyy did she bring the spice and tension with this one. Irresistible Attraction is a stand-alone book in the series that focuses on Alisha and Cole. We got a glimpse of their sexual tension in the first book, but in this book, we learn their secrets, fears and what exactly makes this grumpy/sunshine work. Alisha and Cole's chemistry is like no other. She has a fear of being touched by any man and he is a bulldozer that never lets anyone in. With an unknown teenage daughter, a "special" contract and a twist you never saw coming, it was hard to think Alisha and Cole would make it through it all. I could not put this book down! I highly recommend it!!
This story is spectacular. The way Marlyn brings her characters to life for you to connect with them is truly magnificent! You will fall in love over and over with each character as they come to be.
Emma and Nick's love is magnetic and explosive. I couldn't put the book down. The more I read, the more I couldn't stop. Engaging, loving, sexy and suspenseful.
So hold on to your tissues for the rollercoaster of emotions and an extra pair of panties or three.

This book is jam-packed with twists, turns, and an amazing, well-kept secret that had my jaw dropping. This book has everything. The spice, the banter, the feels. What can I say other than this book was amazing? Cole is so freaking complicated. His pain and guilt run deep, trickling into his feelings for Alisha. And what a firecracker our leading lady is. She is such a strong female character dealing with her own past and works to overcome that drama.
This is the second book in the Irresistible series. It can be read as a stand-alone, but beware; you might get hooked on reading every book in this series. It has romance, and suspense, a grumpy male and a feisty female, a teenage daughter who’s trying to fit into her new life, and past demons trying to ruin the character’s happiness.
Wow! Absolutely devoured this book! Alisha and Cole are the best examples of Grumpy/Sunshine. The book starts out with Alisha having a traumatic event happen and as she is trying to deal with the issues that come with it, her “bulldozer” comes to the rescue. While he has his own set of issues, they really do come together for a perfect match! Highly recommend!!!
